The Parish Of Little Horkesley resolves to strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the earth.

 

We have therefore adopted the Environmental Policy of the Diocese of Chelmsford,

and in particular resolve to:

 

1. Promote biodiversity, especially through the Churchyard conservation area

2. Seek to reduce our Carbon footprint

3. Promote energy conservation, through economical use of lighting, heating & water

4. Seek to reduce use of fossil fuels by employment of local resources

5. Operate an environmental waste policy

6. Use environmentally-friendly products for cleaning and other tasks

7. Use or re-use sustainable, renewable and local resources for any repairs and building works

8. Design new facilities using environmental best practice
